Please keep in mind that the approvals for these programs are income-based. If you have already been served by these programs at your current residence, you cannot be served there again.
These programs are provided by the New York State Energy and Research Development Authority (NYSERDA).
Home Energy Assessment
A home energy assessment is the first step in utilizing the programs that New York State has to offer. Receiving an assessment means that you can get a better idea of what programs to apply for or where you'd like to invest your money the most. Empower +
Empower + is a completely free program that allows us to make your home more energy efficient by supplying insulation, air sealing, LED light bulbs (up to 16), CO/smoke detectors, thermostats, and sometimes even refrigerator or freezer replacements. To find out if your household is eligible, please refer to the income guidelines here. You can open the PDF version below to fill out, print, and sign. Comfort Homes
